Sizes
| Pack | Sheet size | Sheets |
|---|---|---|
| A4 | 297 x 210mm | 100 |
| A3 | 420 x 297mm | 100 |
| A5 | 210 x 148.5mm | 100 |
| Mug size | 210 x 99mm | 100 |
Mug size sheets are cut to fit an 11oz mug, so there is no trimming. A5 cuts waste on small blanks such as keyrings and coasters. A3 needs an A3 printer such as the Epson ET-8550 or ET-16150.
Using sublimation paper
Print on the coated side, which is the brighter, whiter side, at the highest quality setting rather than draft. Let the print dry completely to avoid shadows and blurring. The printed sheet then goes face down on the blank, and heat and pressure turn the ink into a gas that bonds with the polyester or coating.
Our guides cover using sublimation paper correctly and why sublimation paper curls or warps.
FAQs
How should I store sublimation paper?
Flat, in a sealed bag, away from moisture. Humidity affects transfer quality.
Can I use it with normal printer ink?
No. It needs sublimation ink, such as our EcoTank sublimation ink.
