Tips for the Best Sublimation Results

• Dry Your Prints: Always make sure your sublimation paper is completely dry before pressing to avoid shadows or blurring.
• Watch Your Temperature: If the mug stays in the press too long or the heat is too high, the ink may begin to lift, making blacks look brown. High heat can also cause the paper to stick to the ceramic.
• Check Your Pressure: Your mug press should close firmly but without excessive force. Once closed, the mug should be held securely and not move.
• The Cooling Process: Peel the paper immediately after pressing. For a crisp finish and to stop the sublimation process instantly, you can dunk the mug into room-temperature water. This helps prevent ghosting or blurry edges.
